Women and young girls in Derby and across England face a range of social and personal challenges that impact their wellbeing and ability to thrive. These include poor mental health, low self-esteem, loneliness, domestic abuse, unhealthy relationships, unemployment, financial insecurity, and the pressures of social media and online safety.

Many women lack access to supportive networks and opportunities to develop confidence, life skills, and economic independence. Thrive Community Network CIC exists to address these challenges by providing safe spaces, emotional and mental health support, mentoring, confidence building programmes, employability training, and community activities that empower women and young girls to reach their full potential and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
